DT770 with King Size Ear Cushions [音楽関係]

I just tyied to get MDR-XB700's massive king size ear cushions into DT770 Pro.
It sounds with more bass. Especially, its amount is similer as MDR-EX700.
And also This combination has clearly defined impressive highs. i.e. cymbals, chims, or any other percusions are sounding as if they are available here. So pleasant. This is the taste of closed-back headphones, isn't it. Oh, If you have a chance, you must listen Sui-Kin-Kutsu (or sounding pot with water drops which is seen in some japanese traditional garden).

Then, fixate 'em with double sided tapes and you have done.
So easy, huh?
Also, If your sensitive ears don't like too loud bass, I have a solution.
The amount of bass is controled by a small hole on the can, at backside.
When you close this hole, -- This will gain the stiffnes of backside air. The diaphragm will get harder to move -- , you can get more tightened up bass, And sound pressure level gets slightly lower.
I'm using cork sheets and double sided tapes for this purpose.
